Prepare all the materials you need to work:
- A set of images from our website;
- Phone/monitor (if you are going to interrupt the images)
- Blank sheets of paper that need to be cut in advance in the appropriate size proportional to the pictures. For those who want to simplify the production process for themselves, our team has created their own flipbooks with a unique design. You can order them by writing to us via the contact button or emailing info@animationspace.com;

- Pencils, pens, felt-tip pens, and anything else you want to use to draw your images, add your own colors and ideas;
- A staple, rubber band, ribbon, or anything else you’d like to use to bind the pages together (if you’re using your own sheets of paper).
Step 3: Create a flipbook
- Cut the paper to the right size or use a pre-made flipbook from AnimationSpace and transfer the images using a pencil or pen;
- Make sure that each picture is placed on a separate page and that the size is exactly the same.
- Assemble the pictures in sequence to test the animation
Interesting to know: Until recently, home-made tables consisting of a glass top and a backlight were used to accurately copy an image onto a blank sheet of paper. However, it was too bulky and inconvenient. That’s when humanity invented the light tablet. This is what you need to create the perfect flipbook. It is a simple but very useful device. LED backlighting on its working surface allows you to clearly and quickly transfer images from the original to the copy, taking into account even the smallest details. If you want to add such an assistant to your toolkit, you can order it from us.
Step 4: Test the animation
Review the pages you’ve created to make sure your animation looks smooth and consistent. At this point, you can add the finishing touches and make any adjustments you need.
Step 5: Connecting pages
If you’re satisfied with the result, bind the pages together using an elastic band, ribbon, or staple. It’s important to remember that the pages should be easy to turn for convenient use in the future flipbook. If you created your mini-animation in our flipbook, this step is already thought out in advance.
Step 6: Share your creation
Congratulations on creating your very own flipbook! Don’t forget to show it to your friends and family! You can also share it on social media and even send it to us (which we’d love to see) so we can see how you used our images to create unique animations.
Creating your own flipbook is undoubtedly a fun and creative way to learn the basics of animation, share your stories on paper, and have a great time. We hope our set of images will help you start this exciting journey into the world of animation on AnimationSpace!
